The 6 Pillars of Character Transformation

"Intelligence is not enough,
Intelligence plus CHARACTER,
that is the goal of true education."

- Martin Luther King -

Character education is the DELIBERATE effort by families, schools and communities to help children and young people to understand, care for and act upon core ethical values.  For these reasons, our school embarked on a very exciting Character Transformation journey at the beginning of 2009.

During the course of 2009, our pupils eagerly participated in all the interesting activities planned for them and have certainly strived to become more caring, respectful, fair, responsible and trustworthy citizens.  Our school climate has improved dramatically - we have noted a decrease in negative peer pressure, a decline in aggressive and antisocial behaviour and a remarkable increase in the number of pupils who are developing their full potential.

Our Character Transformation campaign paid handsome dividends during the course of last year and we are enjoying another positive year.  Please visit the News tab to read about our 2010 Character Transformation activities.
